The Search Toolbar
The Search Toolbar is used to locate map features based on predefined search criteria.   Parcels may be located using owner name, address, or taxkey, while features in other layers may be located using a variety of available searches.   To learn more about how search results are displayed, visit the Results and Reports page.
The following tools are available (click on a tool icon in the toolbar below to learn about the tool):
Type the property owner's name into the Owner Name box of the Owner Search dialogue box.   As you type, a drop-down list of owner names that are similar to your search string is populated.   Select the owner name that you seek and click “Search” when finished.   Search results will be selected from the Tax Parcels layer and displayed in the Selection Results window, along with options for viewing and exporting data.

After a school district name, supervisory district number, or supervisory district name is chosen, click the "Execute" button.   Search results are displayed in the Selection Results window, along with options for viewing and exporting data.

From the drop-down lists in the dialogue box that appears after choosing the tool (below), choose a parcel attribute on which the search will be based, then choose the desired search criteria.
If the search string requires a user-specified value (example: "LAND VALUE > 100000"), enter the value in the box on the far right.   If the search string does not require a user-specified value (example: "MUNICIPALITY = Franklin"), the box on the far right will change to a drop-down list that is populated with available values.
More sophisticated searches may be constructed by joining multiple individual search strings together to expand searches (example: "MUNICIPALITY = Franklin Or MUNICIPALITY = Shorewood")
or to refine searches (example: "LAND VALUE > 100000 And IMPROVED VALUE < 500000").
  Click "
Add" to create additional search strings.
Join search strings together using the available "And" and "Or" conjunctions.
